New Year and Grandma Fitzy

Here are some pics of our Christmas Lutefisk celebration. We also celebrated Casi's birthday and played some dice....
Also pics of Grandma Fitzy with the Otte kids.  Mom has been staying with Jeff and I as she has not been feeling well.  We are hoping we can get an answer for her pain soon, but until we do she will be here.  She enjoys seeing the kids and they love to see her too.

Thanksgiving Week

Ryan, Katelyn, Hudson and Andee spent the week of Thanksgiving in Minnesota!!! We enjoyed having them here and did our best to try to convince them that Minnesota is THE place to live!!! I don't think we had much success, but we did enjoy the time we spent with them. Andee is beautiful!! She is just starting to smile and coo and she loved snuggling into Grandma Lori's big soft "chest"!!! Coltyn and Hudson were an absolute HOOT!! What one didn't think of the other one did. They played so well together for 2 year olds. It was amazing to watch them!! They had a few little spats, but for the most part they just loved each other. My new wood laminate floor has officially been broken in. If it can survive two 2 year olds and their cars and tractors, it can survive anything!!! Morgyn loved helping with her baby cousin and wanted to hold her all the time!! Dylon just had fun hanging out. I think his highlight was going to Cabela's with Unkie and his buddy Tony.
We spent one day at the Zoo and had a great day. The rest of the time we mostly just hung out and enjoyed our time together. It was sooooo fun for me to have them all under one roof!!! I can't wait until their next visit.

Anniversary Week end at Lake Superior

Jeff and I spent a long relaxing weekend on the shores of Lake Superior for our anniversary. We stayed in a condo at Larsmont cottages. We really didn't do much but veg out. It was a much needed get away and we had a wonderful time.

My Interior Decorating week end

My redecorating project is almost complete. My interior decorators arrived on Saturday and helped me get things back together. The whole thing came together nicely. I really am loving everything. The kids were here and were in the bedrooms doing some decorating/building of their own. They made forts with blankets and chairs. Coltyn sat in his fort (that Dylon and Morgyn put together for him so he would not destroy theirs) watching a movie. They had lots of fun!! I remember how fun that was when I was a kid!!!

Halloween 2008

Here are some pictures of the kids on Halloween!! I think they all had a great time. I didn't get to enjoy Halloween night with them as I picked up a shift in the ER (not the smartest place to be on Halloween night in a town with 2 Colleges!!)
Dylon, Morgyn and Coltyn did come to see me. When I asked Coltyn what he was he told me "a puppy costume".

I have been busy trying to get my house back together. The floor is in (except for some trim that better be here on Friday!!)
I just need to get things put away and stuff back on the walls. I am busy planning for Thanksgiving. Ryan, Katelyn and kids will be here and we are sooooooo excited to see them.

Little Pumpkins

We are in the process of getting new wood floor and carpet so needless to say, things have been a little crazy at Grandma Lori's house. This "update" project has been going on since early summer. I am very excited for it to be done...hopefully I will be putting things back together next weekend. It has to be all back together when Ryan,Katelyn and kids come for Thanksgiving.

The kids were here and put together these pumpkins that will just live at Grandma Lori's for the season. I think this has now become a tradition!!
Casi took Dylon and Morgyn to a movie on Saturday and Coltyn stayed with me and we had Wendy's for lunch....there was a fly in the house so I told him he better eat his fries or the fly would eat them....he thought that was VERY funny, so he decided to "feed the fly"!!! It was very cute and then when you add his little giggle in....it just really makes your day!!!

The Zoo and Halloween Party

Dylon, Morgyn, Coltyn and I had a busy day on Saturday. We went to the Zoo in the morning and then off to a Halloween Party with Grandma Bev in the afternoon....and then we had a sleep over!!!
We saw the new Russian Grizzly Bear exhibit at the zoo. The highlight of that (for me anyway) was the Sea Otters. I could have watched them for hours. The highlight of the day though was definitly watching the shark feedings. We then went to McDonalds for lunch and decided we are going to win the million dollars on the Monopoly game. We already have it all spent so don't ask us to share!!!!

In the afternoon (after naps of course), we went to a Halloween Party and made jack-0-lanterns and had lots of yummy food.
The kids then had a sleepover at our house!!!
It was a super fun day, but Grandma Lori needs a day or two to recover!!!!
